Coming this Fall 2025 - The Second Book in the “Go West” Trilogy

Book #1 - “Red Sky at Night” told the tale of the first wagon trains to carry settlers to Oregon. Ben, Sara and her family end up making the journey alone, facing danger and death around every turn.

Book #2 - “Amber Waves of Grain” tells the story of the first years in Oregon and the hardships faced by those that survived. While Book One followed the journey of Ben and Sara and the first families on the Oregon Trail, “Amber Waves of Grain” portrays the hardships and struggles they face in their new home. It takes us through the fast-moving spectrum of the growing nation, from the opening of the west and the development of the Northwest into the new century.
